Ride-Along and Recruitment

Are you interested in becoming a firefighter for the Russellville Fire Department? Would you like to experience the complexities of responding to an emergency first-hand?

The Russellville Fire Department is offering a Ride-Along Program that will allow you to do just that. The purpose of the Ride-Along Program is to open the doors of opportunity to both future potential firefighters as well as the community. It gives an insight into life as a firefighter by enhancing the knowledge and understanding of citizens while simultaneously fostering community involvement. Those who participate can expect to gain familiarity with the duties and responsibilities of the Russellville Fire Department personnel.

If you are interested in this program, please read the general rules (PDF) for the program. Complete the application form and the release form (PDF). Mail them and a confirmation email will be sent to you shortly.  (The Release form must be signed then mailed or dropped off at the Central Fire Station before a ride along can be scheduled)

We will send you an email to notify you if you have been cleared to schedule a ride-along. Please ensure you are checking your emails periodically, including your spam folder, so as not to miss this important email.
